Growing up in upstate South Carolina, Jared Ketterman has been banging on six strings for longer than he can remember. Putting his friends and ex's in songs, playing the VFW's and tailgates when he could, he knew that it was something he had to get high on, like another drug. When life threw him a curve ball, he moved to the midwest and started over.  Spending a lot of time writing songs about life down south and some new stories from being in the midwest, he released his debut cd "Flyin' Under The Sun" in 2010.  Collaberations with Mike Goncalves and Jen Halverson from national rock band Hip Kitty made the cd a success getting almost immediate radio play from supporting stations. After the band was put together, Jared hit the road playing shows in small clubs to large music festivals from middle America to the Carolinas.  

The sound of his music ranges from southern rock to country and all in between, with promoters and fans claiming his stage show is somewhere between Merle Haggard and AC/DC.  With a growing fan base and the amazing people out there on the road, the end is nowhere in sight.
